Made in Hawaii Foods originally started as a distributor of food products from different manufacturers from Hawaii in October of 1992. A few years later, they jumped in and manufactured their own line of jams and jellies under the name Island Preserve, which is currently still on the market. Over the years, we’ve come up with different products among which, some of our bestsellers Saturday Grandma’s Mochi Products and Super Sushi Vinegar and Granny Bea’s Gourmet Foods, along with over 30 varieties of our jams, jellies and fruit spreads. In 2004, we opened a Factory Outlet in Pearl City, Oahu where we sell our products as well as those of talented Hawaiian chefs and artisans, which we also sell online.

Long Ears Hawaiian Coffee started accidentally in the year 2000 when the mule-breeding company 2B Half-Horse Ranch’s sire passed away. They began to take interest in the red coffee cherry trees in their ranch. They started picking and before they knew it, they had 300 pounds of red coffee cherry in their hands. After having trouble selling them all over Hamakua, they decided to process them on their own by purchasing all the necessary equipment, brewing batch after batch. They shared their brewed coffee with their friends and a few old timers where they discovered the history of Hamakua’ coffee.

Kona Joe Coffee grows 100% pure Kona coffee on their patented trellis system. Using the same process as the world’s finest vineyards, they meticulously prune and tie the Kona trees so that they grow sideways and upwards. This is to ensure a more even sun exposure, hence a more even ripening of the coffee cherry. Because of this, better texture and richer overall flavors are achieved. Kona Joe Coffee has the rich taste that can only be produced at the narrow stretch of the Kona coffee belt coupled with the Kona climate and soil. Featured on both the History Channel as well as the L.A. Magazine, you’ll never get enough of this innovatively-grown 100% pure Kona beans.

Koa Coffee Plantation offers one of the most exquisite Kona coffee that has garnered recognition from all over. Located on the small slopes of Mauna Loa in the small town Captain Cook, their coffee beans mature slower because of the plantation’s high elevation, sun-drenched mornings and rainy afternoons making them grow larger while maintaining its superior grade. This family owned and operated business prides itself as having been the first Kona farm to use the eco-friendly wet-processing system from Colombia as well as a dry mill all the way from Brazil to produce the finest coffee for everyone. With its delightfully smooth yet rich aroma with no aftertaste, you’ll want nothing else than to have another fill of this uniquely enticing blend.
