Oils of Aloha’s beginnings can be traced back 20 years ago in Koga Theater in Waialua in North Shore, Oahu. They process and supply Kukui and Macadamia oils for cosmetics and pharmaceutical companies. Over the years, they have done extensive research on the benefits of Kukui and Macadamia oils, as well as introduced skin and hair care products made from their oils.
Oils of Aloha’s research gave them the opportunity to expand their Macadamia oil market to food applications because of its numerous health benefits and excellent taste. Oils of Aloha is the pioneer for using Macadamia oil for cooking.
Furthermore, they added vitamins to their Kukui oil, adding to its effectivity in relieving the harmful effects of the sun, hydrating and soothing dry skin and treating skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema.
Oils of Aloha also developed SOLaleur®, an important component in their After Sun Products, which aids in relieving redness after too much sun, as well as giving the necessary protection to make skin less susceptible to sun damage.
At present, Oils of Aloha also offers Kukui oil lotions and creams, shampoo, moisturizing cleanser, lip therapy and massage oils, as well as different varieties of Macadamia Cooking and Salad oil.
